The F**king chu*ia

A word of caution to all those who find the title offensive or obscene...plzzz don't go on n read the entire post....well, this is not meant to abuse anyone, but jus' to discuss a li'l 'bout how we often use certain expletives without actually meaning them, just off the cuff or strongly meaning them at times....i sometimes wonder when people ask me,"tum gaali use nahi karte??"(as if it's something really essential)......
when i was in Delhi, all guys were supposed to use them loudly, that's one way of showing machogiri (ur considered a sissy if u don't)...i don't mean there's something wrong 'bout them, but then what's right 'bout 'em?? well, sometimes using gaalis is the the only way to project ur strength, lest ur taken lightly....so abusing can be a defence actually!! thanks to Roadies, u have them in ur living rooms, so what if they're beeped.....

Talking 'bout the famous 'F' word....it's usage in India, the way i see it, is just for the heck of using it, more often than not (phoren influence, i would call it)... it's fashionable (kinda 'hep') to use as well as it also tends to project that ur "advanced", modern n really urbane...or u may use it when u wanna abuse and still not look indecent....morever, u can use it when girls are around ('coz they use it themselves in the open), they'll actually be impressed....What the f**k...
"F**k" to most Indians is very mild n non offensive, even when used in its most literal sense, it does not have the impact of bh**ch*d and ma**rch*d....most of u would agree to this...anyways "f**k" is an extremely versatile word n can be used in any which way n any which sense u would like to use it...watch this video (the 'F' word) on you tube for an instance....

Coming to desi swear words, there r loadsa 'em...from the seemingly mild ga**u, ha**mi, or ch**ia to the more heavy weight ones.....jus' took a google search for ch**ia n got some interesting meanings n definitions in urban dictionary, i'll quote examples - "A uniquely Indian expletive, endearing and rather harmless compared to other abuses, classifies the recipient as either an idiot, or an ignoramus or someone behaving stupidly, derived from Ch*t, hindi for vagina", " the literal meaning is - out of the ch*t (vagina) - but the word ch**ia in urdu and hindi means 'A fool' or 'idiot'", "very popular hindi slang referring to an arsehole / dickhead / loser in life / generally idiotic person"...n u get many more...
a source further goes on to mention, "The One who has graduated the "S**LE" & "GA**U" knightships, further qualifications include BH**ADI KE, BE**CHOD, B**NCH*D n finally, MA**RCH*D"....ouch...i think this has been a dose of gaalis galore.....
A word 'bout the sledging spat b/w Bhajji n Symonds....'maa ki ....' is ok but monkey's unacceptable....how strange is that!!! thnk gawd....Tendulkar din't hear any of that, atleast he said so....n hey...what 'bout the Gambhir-Afridi hot desi exchange...total maa n behen fare.....

Before i wind up this post, a word 'bout censorship....abuses on TV are beeped (like in Roadies)....what 'bout movies?? i remember watching the first day- first show of JP Dutta's LOC-Kargil (n unfortunately so) at Fun Republic.... most of the heroes-Ajay, Saif, Abhishek et al. very proudly puffed their lungs out shouting "bh**ch*d" and the crowd followed suit n shouted it back in response....probably there's a sense of elation in using these words...later it was muted i heard....even in "Bichchhu", Rani uses "chu**a" but there's no sound.........back in '99, there was a movie starring Akshaye Khanna n Urmila (a forgettable fare) which had a song having words "bh*n di taki" which were later replaced with "chidi ki dukki" (equally ridiculous)....surprisingly, in Rang De Basanti, bh*n di taki/taka has been used all throughout n proudly so......the censors must have gone liberal down the years?? what does "bh*n da taka" actually mean? again taking a google search..this is what i found- a whore's brother or a person who pimps his sister....how ok is that to be used by a lead actor repeatedly in an otherwise critically acclaimed picture?? probably the censors' still felt it's mild...upto them...!! by the same token, whatsay 'bout 'bhootni ke'?? u'll find many movies in recent times, where obscene expetives have been passed uncensored.....

all u d**kheads n a**holes.....more on cuss words in future posts....have a f**kin* time...
